people need the church to lead, Gods people, true leaders, answer to question one.

the case you put forward is taking scripture out of context, to suit your argument.

the abomination surrounding Jerusalem, then let them in Judea.

my mothers childrens home, in the middle of kisumu, covenant home, kenya.

when all hell broke lose in kisumu, and it became a war zone, hundreds of children, familys took refuge there.
though all around them people were killed, every ware burnt and looted, covenant home was not touched. a sanctuary.

like wise in the past we set up safe havens, were, if trouble came, children , people could be moved to saftey, and not trapped in kisumu.
this time around, trouble erupted so quickly, this was not an option, no one could get in or out of kisumu.

i can understand people planing and preperation, they are still a part of society.
and ready and prepared at the drop of a hat.
Did Jesus lose his life, because his mum and dad, moved him from harms way, warned to do so.?
paul when lowered over a wall in a basket.
there were times Jesus removed him self, another time he went to Jerusalem, as thats where he had to go, the cup he had to drink, his fathers will.

David when johnathant fired an arrow over his head.

what if the euro and the dollar fold, by the end of this year, as some financial experts awe warning, could be the case.

what will you use for currency. riots, mobs on the rampage, would be just the beginning.

the middle east, the global financial markets are near the edge, like wise north korea, will it all be pulled back, or go over edge,

i always get the picture of a man falling from a high building, on his desent, he keeps saying to himself, all is well.

these senerios can come to pass? they may not, what is the holy spirit  saying to the churches,
if its business as usual, false alarm, all well and good, if not, what then?
i know what i think. where does the arrow land.?

did the early church, go under ground, the sign of the fish?
did the church in China , when the pastors where detained and most of the men also, the women did a sterling job, and the church emerged on fire for Jesus.
Also in Russia and the eastern block.
Richard wurmbrand, while in solidary confinement, said it would have meant so much, if some one from the west had come, and called down the stairs, where he was detained, we are with you.

but no one came. from the west to stand with them in that dark hour.

for some their day has already come. I hope we will be prepared, when ours arrives.

preparation can come in many shapes and sizes, the village i live in has a flood commitee, they know who to call on in the village, the different pool of skills, that may be required in a flood.

they are looking at, a back up generater for the church, having just had the coldest winter for some time, sub zero tempretures, some comunitys were left with out power, putting the most vunrable at risk.

the church can offer, hot food shelter, ect
also looking at a village food store, fuel store for essential journeys, ie to a hospital.
we are all members of one body, we all need each other, the eye, the foot, the hand.

when people work together great things can and should be achieved.

Bad things happen to a people when they stray too far from God. Those bad things even happen to the believer who dwells among them. But the child of God has an everlasting hope in Jesus. So there is nothing to fear for them personally, but the death that every man owes and will not escape. But to be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord. That is something those who do not know God fail to see. This 'reality' is temporary, and what is to come after we die, will be forever.

Praise God and give Him glory.

All sounds very nice, not so for the lost, those still stumbling aroung in darkness.
who have no shepard or santuary.
Leaving the 99 to find the one ?

I  still see the reality, may be temporary,     but still  to him who over comes.

will there still be faith on the earth, when I return.

words are easy.  real reality, well thats another matter.

You are missing the point Johnny. The sheep wandered off, so they belonged to the shepherd to begin with.

Perhaps we have a different opinion on what it means to overcome. But your 'real reality' is all doomsday from what can be seen on these forums. There is so much more to God, I wonder if you ever focus on that reality.

Everyone here knows that society is wicked, the environment is being trashed, and that we need our hearts to be prepared.

God took care of every need of His people when He delivered them from Egypt. If He wants some to live through tribulation, He will provide. If He does not, who can change that fact?

depends what you call doom, ect, i call it the real world, and what millions are having to live through today.

as already mentioned, not many are afforded the luxuary , of comfort and ease you enjoy.
what did Jesus say about those well fed and comfortable,at ease, i think it started with woe.

mulitudes in the valley of discission.

The parable of the sower, when hard times come, because of the Word,
many will fall away.

ask your self this, could you live one day,? as many are forced to live, war zones, abstract poverty, and have no choice.

one day to, you to may have no choice?

the begger at the gate, covered in sores.   and  Abrahams bossom.

blessed are the poor in spirit,  for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Yes, I could.  Not all here have the luxury you have, johnny.  Don't assume.

thats rich coming from you doc, like the desert calling the grain of sand, could you do ten days.?

Daniel has always fasinated myself, a man of excellent spirit, highly esteemed by God,
who cares.
Daniel, fasting and praying making suplication, in sack cloth and ashes.

what do you make of working out your salvation, with fear and trembling ?

im glad you are all so ready and prepared, fantastic.

i look at Jesus preparing for the cross, droplets of blood, on his brow.

now thats praying,and preparing.                   johnny

Hi Johnny,

Whatever the reports concerning the events taking place in the world today, our faith rests on God.  We know that His will, will be perfectly done, and the events that God tells us of in His Word will come to pass. Faith rests on that and is at peace, no matter what happens.

May God be praised.
Wings

I'm in agreement with your post Wings. However, when it comes to the destruction of 'God's magnificent Creation' that I see and read about, I do have concerns. I don't get overly alarmed nor consumed by these events but I do have concerns regarding the welfare of man kind and nature that I  continually pray for each day. Man was placed on earth to be the caretaker of God's creation but in many instances he has been the destroyer. I believe it is good to have some healthy concerns regarding our fellow man and nature when you consider  babies born in some parts of the world that will not live to see their first birthday due to disease and starvation.

Wink I my be wrong, but I believe that you all are taking Johnny's post in the wrong light.

As a watchman or watch tower, it seems to Me that Johnny is just sounding the alarm on current world events that he believes is associated with that which is written in prophecy.

It seems to me that his motive is to give us (the readers) a heads up so that we will have time to prepare and not be caught off guard as the Lord warned us not to be.

In my opinion, Johnny is just trying to do the Christian thing here, and you all are taking his purpose completely out of context.

As with most of you, I do not agree with that which Johnny is shouting, but I love him as a Christian brother for carring enough to act.

Maby the rest of you should consider....

Thank-you Johnny for your concise obersevation of world events & phrophcy. People who by choice refuse to examine the evidence of truth will be destined to suffer the consequences of what lies ahead  to come for all of humanity. There a many more people like you who are telling people the message in an attempt to wake them up. It's not a joke nor is it a script for some wild Hollywood movie. This IS for real.God gave us the ability to make choices. You can chose to believe there's nothing evil going on or you can take your head out of the sand, open your eyes to what has been happening (without your knowledge or consent) and prepare yourself for what is yet to come.
Many Christians believe we are living in the end days. Jesus told us He would return. He told us we would not know the day or the hour. But He did tell us He would give us signs. The signs He gave us by way of prophecies made so many years ago are coming to light at a furious rate now and most have been fulfilled.

We ARE the generation of man that WILL witness His return.
To look at what's happening on the earth and not recognize the evil of men is not a direct result of satan's rule on earth would only be an injustice served to the one who died on the cross for our sins.
In as much I believe also that the EVILS of the New World Order will win the "battle" I know that God WILL win the "war". Woe to those who have not accepted Jesus Christ as their personal saviour by the time that "war" is won. For by not doing so they have made their choice to spend an eternity in hell. Know that even though I don't know you, it is because I love YOU so much, that I say these things - praying that you will hear in your heart and soul - not just your mind.

If you already have a personal relationship with Jesus I pray you walk ever so closely with Him through God's Word, the Bible. Ask the Lord for the gift of discernment so the Holy spirit may fall upon you so you might understand His Word the way in which it was written. If you do not believe in God's Word and do not have a personal relationship with Jesus I pray you come to know Him and accept Him into your heart. Please don't take too long to make up your mind. Time is short. He's coming very soon!
John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
